At the end of every semester, the CGE Namibia staff take a day to reflect on the previous semester and make plans for the new semester. This semester, we decided to start our planning and reflecting day with a fun team building. In groups of 3 we were tasked with making the most delicious chocolate possible. Using cocoa, cocoa butter, coconut oil and honey as the base ingredients (in any proportion to their liking), each team could then add their choice of almonds, milk, chilies, strawberries, peanuts, raisins, pretzels, peanut butter or anything else delicious found in the house. The results were absolutely delicious! After a long day of planning, we all went out to eat at La Marmite, a local Cameroonian restaurant. The dinner served multiple purposes: to celebrate the end of the year, to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season, but unfortunately, also to bid farewell to Jessica, who has been our wonderful International Resident Adviser (Intern) for the last year. She will be dearly missed, but we wish her well in her next steps.
